Directly from Paris, Kai has to go to Tokyo, Japan. His new assignment is to find the lost Fresh Fruits from Harajuku. The Fruits Magazine existed in the late 90’s and the 2000’s. However, the magazine closed after 2017 as Aoki announced, that there are no more cool kids to photograph. Kai has to find the real reason on the closure of this iconic publication. He colors his hair pink, shaves his beard and colors his eyebrows black. He lets go of the preppy, yuppie look and goes into the streetsyle look.
The print design is done by the Hong Kong artist Jocelyn Lui. This look just fits for a stroll in Tokyo. It’s paired with sunglasses and a pair of black sneakers. The Fresh Fruits are waiting for him...
